SDP Turmoil Following "Disastrous" Election Night Result

Turmoil has broken out in the Social Democratic Party following the presidential election defeat as Jeskia challenges Brandin's leadership of the party.

Following the announcement of Vincent_Wolff and MikeBodwin that they would be merging their two parties and not forming a coalition with the SDP, all hell has broken loose in the country's largest and second oldest party.

"I do not know how Brandin will be able to stay on" says an anonymous voice from within the party. "I believe that his leadership is over. But it is the party's members who will make that decision"

The party is also in turmoil thanks to the comments of MikeBodwin at the press conference with Vincent_Wolff - which have provoked outrage and galvanised the party in its opposition to the incoming government.

"The 'dictatorship' remark was completely uncalled for" said the same anonymous voice, "We will not stand by as they accuse us, the party they have worked with for most of the past year and a half, of having run a dictatorial regime"

Jeskia, meanwhile, has called for a complete blocking of all legislation the DNP-Green government attempts to pass as she is "irate" at the comments made by the two leaders at their press conference.
