Jeskia, the candidate of the Social Democratic Party, has been elected President of Demarcia, defeating the Demarcian National Party's candidate Vincent_Wolff. At a low turnout of just 6 votes (4.69%), The Social Democratic Party has won a historic fourth consecutive term at the presidency.

The Social Democratic Party, however, also lost its parliamentary majority. President GeorgeChambers failed to win a seat in Parliament, something that will shock and sadden many Social Democrats in the country.

In her victory speech, President-elect Jeskia celebrated her achievement as the second woman president in Demarcia. She also expressed her pride in GeorgeChambers, Penstubal and MikeBodwin for helping her get where she is, and announced her first appointments, including MikeBodwin to the position of Prime Minister.
