Red Wave in Mayoral Elections Nationwide, DNP Defeated in Arbourdon

Jeskia, the Leader of the Social Democratic Party, has been elected mayor of Dodoville, and Penstubal has defeated Vincent_Wolff in the Arbourdon mayoral election, according to the election results released by the President of the Senate today.

Jeskia was the only candidate in the Dodoville mayoral election, and, with this result, will become the second mayor in the city's history, succeeding the independent SuperMiron. This victory, in addition to Penstubal's re-election in Arbourdon, where he handily defeated Vincent_Wolff (who failed to win a single vote, including her own), means that all cities in Demarcia are now governed by the Social Democrats.

Dodoville Mayor SuperMiron has congratulated Mayor-elect Jeskia on "her landslide victory", stating that he looks forward to "seeing our city develop under new management".
