Parliament has voted in favor of the motion of no confidence against Prime Minister Jake. The sole Member of Parliament present was Penstubal (SDP).

In his speech introducing the motion, Penstubal said the country "has had enough of politicians who make promises they can't keep," accusing Jake of making "lofty promises" and refusing "to communicate with cabinet members, despite being clearly able and present". He said that, although "none of us are exemplary when it comes to activity", such behavior should "not be rewarded".

MikeBodwin (CUP), the Speaker of the Parliament, takes over as acting President and as acting Prime Minister. Jake is the shortest-serving Prime Minister in Demarcian history.
