President Reportedly Considering Founding "Christian Democratic Party"

President Vincent_Wolff is reportedly considering leaving the Social Democratic Party and founding her own "Christian Democratic Party".

The President, our sources tell, is, after some thorough examination of these prospects, increasingly confident that, if she decided to create her own party, she would have enough people to officially establish it, as well as have good numbers looking ahead towards the May 2021 elections.

The President is said to be considering this idea because she has significant disagreements with regards to the future direction of the Social Democratic Party, as well as differences that were always there but were under the surface for the duration of her leadership; namely, on social issues, where the President is known to be more conservative than her party base.

A "Christian Democratic Party", founded by the President, would likely adopt a mildly conservative, centre-right platform.

A matter of contention for the President is whether to contest the elections on her own, or to form an alliance, perhaps temporary, with the Social Democrats. The latter choice might be her preferred choice if she is too late in making her decision.
