Penstubal Endorses Jeskia for Speaker of the Parliament

Penstubal, the current Speaker of the Parliament, has endorsed former president Jeskia as his successor to his position at the first parliament meeting of Brandin's presidency.

"I would like to express my endorsement of Jeskia to become the next Speaker of the Parliament for the duration of Brandin's presidency" said the ousted Member of Parliament, "I believe she is ready for this job and has demonstrated a commitment to this Parliament and to its affairs, that I believe few other active citizens have at this moment."

Additionally, in his statement, Penstubal congratulated newly-elected Members of Parliament and also expressed his hope that President Brandin would lead the country "into a progressive future" and that he "governs with humility and respect".

SuperMiron was re-elected Deputy Speaker of the Parliament at the session.
