MikeHawk (NathanielArcher) Elected Leader of the Social Democratic Party

MikeHawk (NathanielArcher) has been elected Leader of the Social Democratic Party, defeating former President JeskiaWeathers (who is ineligible for re-election owing to her resignation) and AshtenLuciano, who failed to garner a single vote, not even his own.

"This has been, likely to many, the most unexpected outcome in the history of Demarcia", MikeHawk said in his victory speech. "With this in mind, I would like to say that regardless of my first presentation to the country that I will work much differently than I had used to in the past."

That is indeed what will be necessary if MikeHawk wants to actually last as the party leader and possibly win the presidency. MikeHawk remains a controversial figure, and some within the party are not sure about the party's electoral prospects under his leadership, and are afraid that any erratic behavior resembling that which he's known for would damage the party's image.

"I have serious concerns about this guy", says an anonymous source. "He better prove all those doubting him wrong, and quickly, otherwise he'll be out before the next month even ends."
