MikeHawk Challenged by Vercetti for SDP Leadership

A long and rather eerie period of silence in the Social Democratic Party has ended today as Vercetti submitted a challenge against President MikeHawk for the leadership of the SDP.

Penstubal, who supported Vercetti's challenge, also announced that the SDP would not be fielding a presidential candidate in the event of MikeHawk's defeat by Vercetti. He has expressed an openness to endorsing MikeBodwin, the CUP leader, without clarifying whether this would be on his own behalf or on behalf of the whole party.
