MarcoDeVore, Serena. Mount Independent Bids for Presidency

MarcoDeVore and Serena. are running for President as independents, having respectively gathered the support of two people.

MarcoDeVore, a member of the Social Democratic Party, launched this bid after his defeat in the SDP's leadership election to nilah., the only presidential contender nominated by a political party. The two individuals who backed MarcoDeVore's bid are Blossomxoxo and First Deputy Prime Minister MikeBodwin.

Not long after MarcoDeVore succeeded in submitting his presidential bid, Serena.'s own bid received the approval of two other people, namely Penstubal and GiaGambino. Penstubal, the Secretary of the SDP, provided backing for Serena.'s bid despite his own support for nilah., SDP's presidential nominee.

Soon after providing his backing, Penstubal revealed he mistakenly believed that Serena. renovated the King Demarcus Primary School, when in fact it was done by Principal angelx0 and she was Vice Principal. This means that Serena.'s candidacy request might have passed only thanks to Penstubal mixing up two people.

For the first time since February 2023, the country is set to have a three-way presidential election, with all three candidates being complete newcomers, with very little political experience, if any. In fact, for the first time ever, none of the candidates had served in the Cabinet. It is also set to be the first time since February 2023 that two candidates who are members of the same political party are up against each other.
