Minister of Environment Jeskia has abruptly exited the Social Democratic Party's leadership race, citing "personal matters". She announced that she still intends to run for a Parliament seat, as well as that she will run to become the next Mayor of Dodoville.

This news comes just a day after the Social Democratic Party's leadership debate.

UPDATE (11:20 PM UTC): Jeskia has officially endorsed the President's Chief of Staff ads. in the Social Democratic Party leadership election. A day prior to her endorsement, ads. called her a "Karen" and urged Social Democrats not to choose her as the next leader. This endorsement has prompted some to speculate whether she dropped out and endorsed him precisely because of those comments.
