Jeskia has conceded defeat in the Social Democratic Party's leadership election, although she remains in the running as the polls were already open at the time she had conceded to her opponent, President GeorgeChambers, the incumbent leader of the party.
GeorgeChambers is expected to remain the leader of the Social Democratic Party as a result of this announcement by Jeskia.
