Jake Elected PM; Govt. To Hold NDC Meeting, Events at 21:00 UTC Sunday

The Parliament has unanimously elected Jake as Prime Minister of Demarcia. He is expected to serve in that role for the remainder of the Parliament's term, which has been shortened by the disappearance of President Chop. Elections are set to take place on 6 January.
In his address to Parliament, the Prime Minister announced that a National Development Council meeting would be held on Sunday at 21:00 UTC, which would be accompanied with a Q&A sessions and games, with prizes to be handed out. He said that his events would be Christmas-themed and requested of attendants to dress in accordance with the theme, saying that prizes would be handed out for the "best dressed player".
He concluded his speech by expressing his hopes for restoring the country back to its former glory. Whether he will succeed in this task remains uncertain, as the country faces greater instability and inactivity than ever.
