In a jaw-dropping press conference laden with unprecedented attacks against his political opponents, MikeBodwin has accused the Social Democratic Party of having run a "dictatorship".

During the press conference, asides from lying that the democratically-elected and moderate political party was running the country in a dictatorial style, MikeBodwin and President-elect Vincent_Wolff spent around half an hour trashing the incumbent leading party, while announcing their intention to form an alliance or merge into the "Demarcian Green and National Party", while excluding the SDP from any potential coalition.

The President-elect also expressed her openness towards holding a snap election should the new government be unable to pass legislation thanks to their lack of a majority in the Parliament. MikeBodwin, meanwhile, dared the SDP to block legislation and hoped that he would be able to work with them.

Some political analysts are now describing this rhetoric, promoted by MikeBodwin tonight, as "extremely alienating and dangerous".

"This is not healthy for our democracy", said one political analyst for the Demarcian Inquirer, "It is also not healthy if he wants the other side to be more reasonable, to be willing to work with him. This kind of rhetoric will lead only to gridlock and will hurt the otherwise civilised political culture and atmosphere in Demarcia"

The two leaders' decision to effectively rule out a coalition with the SDP means that this will be the first election forcing the party into the opposition since November 2020.
