Demarcia, 3/4 June 2023: The Most Pathetic Elections in World History

The most pathetic elections in world history have just taken place in the Republic of Demarcia. There was not a single candidate in the Arbourdon local election, and, in Dodoville, MikeBodwin was elected mayor following the second round without having won a single vote - not even his own.
The only voter in the entire country was likely SuperMiron, who cast a vote for himself in Dodoville's council election.
"Pathetic" - the most objective way that a long-running, reputable news source such as ours can describe these elections. MikeBodwin's victory in the mayoral race, though, can only be described as "truly epic" and a "gigachad move".
"Ridiculous," said Jean-Claude Juncker, former President of the European Commission, although it's worth noting he said that about the European Parliament a long while ago, not Demarcia. Still, his ridicule might also be appropriate in describing these events in our own country.
