Brandin Sworn in as President of Demarcia

Brandin has officially been sworn in as the 10th President of the Republic of Demarcia.

"My fellow citizens, countrymen and Demarcians", he began his inaugural address, "It's a historic day, not just for me and you, but for the future of this country. Today symbolizes that even in the lowest of lows, we can produce and give our country the leadership it deserves."

The President went on to repeat his pledge to increase citizenship numbers, pledging also that he would ensure an active citizenry, while labeling the voter turnout at the last election "terrible".

"We need working people. Strong people. Willing to do the good work of the people." added the President, "So Demarcia, I leave you with this. If not you, then who? If you won't run for office, then who will? If you don't tag a friend to join our great country, then who will? If you hate policies on environmental regulation and won't change it, then who will? We must adapt the mindset of change. And not only should we have that mindset, we should be the pilots."
