Brandin has been re-elected President in Demarcia in the country's first snap presidential election. Brandin won 4 votes out of 6, identical to his results in the second round of the February 2022 presidential election.

In the country's first snap parliamentary election, the Green Party lost all its seats. For the first time since the beginning of his political career, MikeBodwin will not have a seat in Parliament and the Green Party will be out of representation for the first time since its founding.

Meanwhile, the Social Democratic Party's electoral list managed to achieve only 16.67% of the vote - its lowest result in history. However, the SDP will have 3 seats and a majority in Parliament thanks only to the election of the two members of the Action 2022 list, Penstubal and Jeskia, who are also members of the SDP.

Penstubal held a speech following the results announcement, in which he expressed his disappointment at the election results and announced his resignation as the leader of Action 2022.

"It is safe to say this is not the result we were hoping for" said the party's leader. "We believed, based on the initial reception our party received prior to the election, that we were set for grasping at least half of the country's support for our efforts to rejuvenate and revive Demarcian politics. This has not been achieved."

"I had made it clear before the election that anything less than 50% would be a disappointing for Action 2022 that would discredit the party's principal idea - a new party, a people's party, to rejuvenate Demarcian politics. That having not been achieved, I believe that this party has no purpose in our politics from this point onwards (...) With that in mind, I would like to announce my resignation as the party's leader, pending a leadership election, should somebody wish to take over the party."

The election has, following the results, been described as "the most useless snap election in history". Some pundits have also remarked that MikeBodwin has suffered a good dose of karma - had he worked with Brandin to form the government following the last election, his party wouldn't be out of Parliament right now.
