It didn't take long after launching his presidential campaign for Brandin to face a major hurdle in his ambitions of becoming the nation's leader.

Brandin, the Leader of the Social Democratic Party, is facing fresh accusations of anti-semitism after reportedly proposing that "we need to stop the Jews" inside the headquarters of the SDP, in the presence both of members and non-members of the party.

No further anti-semitic comments or acts by Brandin are recorded as of yet. However, this does raise the question of whether the leader of the SDP is a racist and a bigot, something that he and his party would, without a doubt, find incredibly difficult assertions to deal with given these comments by Brandin.

Brandin has not yet reached out to clarify whether these allegations are true.
