INTERVIEWER (Penstubal): Hello there, Madam Vice President, and thank you for agreeing to this interview. To begin with, how are you?

JESKIA: I'm fine, thank you for asking.

INTERVIEWER: Alright, glad to hear. Madam Vice President, you were elected leader of the Social Democratic Party about a week ago, unopposed, and are slated to become the Social Democratic candidate to succeed President GeorgeChambers in November. However, the SDP has been in power for almost two years now, and increasingly, some people have been getting tired of the ruling party. This fatigue has culminated with MikeBodwin, the acting Green leader, declaring his support for the DNP, primarily out of opposition to you. How do you maintain the people's confidence in the Social Democratic Party and in yourself, given some apparently have grievances with you?

JESKIA: The people can count on the SDP to bring results. MikeBodwin, meanwhile, is what we call a "hopper" in politics - he hops to the side that benefits him the most. He truly has no values, and as for the DNP who can they run - washed up former president Vincent_Wolff? She's old news, and the old Demarcia - she did nothing when she was president.

INTERVIEWER: Thank you. The next question would be about your ideology, where you stand broadly. You are the leader of the Jacobin Squad, the most left-leaning faction within the SDP. Why do you belong in that faction, how do you identify and what is your political philosophy and the values that propel you?

JESKIA: I belong with Jacobin because I believe that the Government has the responsibility to provide healthcare, education, housing and solutions to other major issues. We in the party work with all our factions to come up with solutions to our problems, not political soundbites to carry to the next election unlike some. My ideology is socialist with a twist of opportunity - I want to expand small businesses in the country, create a new city during my first term and provide access to airports to bring tourists. We should not close ourselves off to other people.

As for values, I support fully all three; liberty because every person deserves love and happiness, justice because we all deserve our voices to be heard and disadvantaged groups to be helped out, and solidarity because we all deserve our own ways of doing things without other people pushing their beliefs on us without respecting ours.

INTERVIEWER: Thank you. Up next, I would like to ask you some policy questions. First up, I will ask you more broadly about your policy suggestions. What are some of the ideas that you have for Demarcia, to make it better, and what are the policies you believe you will be running on in the November elections? Which areas and what policies are your priorities?

JESKIA: My priorities are to expand access to education, improve housing, build new places like an airport, a museum and other things. We will protect abortion rights, unlike the DNP; we will be working on a Women's Bill of Rights to resolve this anti-women's rights nonsense. Additionally, we're going to keep our environment clean, no fossil fuels and clean renowable energy is our priority.

INTERVIEWER: Alright, thank you. I would now like to ask you specifically regarding some things. The Green Party has raised its voice in anger at the government due to what it calls "neglecting the military". One of the principal reasons you are facing strong opposition from the Green Party is that your priorities are thought to be fields other than military and defence issues. How true is this, and regardless, what are your plans for our armed forces, should you get elected President?

JESKIA: The Green Party is the one to talk! MikeBodwin himself has some things to answer for, for a certain project he has been doing for a while. We will be speaking to him about it. Plus, our military is important but if we're not going to war, why overspend and build something we will waste? I agree with him that the military needs funding and training, but let's not get over ourselves; we have to be reasonable and we will have two main bases in the outskirts of our cities and two small others in rural areas.

INTERVIEWER: Thank you. The last election campaign was quite chaotic, and there were tense moments. One of those was with the DNP over the so-called situation with Novaland. This caused major tensions between your party and the Demarcian National Party, and subsequently also with the Green Party, given you once threatened to "investigate hircine". Is the Novaland affair behind you now, or do you still have plans to bring back the issue to public attention and investigate it and individuals involved in it?

JESKIA: Novaland is far from over. I still stand by what I said - something shady is going on with that and the fact certain people in our government refuse to be transparent with the whole thing. Nobody is above the law, and if anyone, in any party, is suspected of a crime or treason, they should be investigated.

INTERVIEWER: Alright, thank you. And finally, I would like to ask you about your personal qualities. Why should you become the next President of the Republic of Demarcia? Why are you right person, and not say Vincent_Wolff or MikeBodwin? And how and when have you proven that you are capable of carrying out the job?

JESKIA: I should be President because I want to bring change to our country. MikeBodwin and Vincent_Wolff will return us to their policies, full of capitalism, tyrant policies and so on. I am the only person potentially running who is not a former president. My first act as President will be to shrink down the Cabinet, bring in new people and expand the country. Also, I'm very strict but fair; we need a leader, not a sheep. If you want a pushover President then I'm not for you - we need a strong woman to lead our country and I'm ready to do so.

INTERVIEWER: Alright, thank you for taking time to do this interview.

JESKIA: My pleasure.
