INTERVIEWER (Penstubal): Hello, Mr. hircine, and welcome to the Demarcian Inquirer's interview just days before the 8 May elections. Do you feel blessed by the Holy Llama to be here?

HIRCINE: Thanks for having me Mr. Penstubal. The holy Llama?

INTERVIEWER: Yes. Let me paraphrase that, sir - do you feel sexy to be here?

HIRCINE: Me and the whole Green Party are nothing but sexy.

INTERVIEWER: Excellent. So let us start - the first thing I would like to ask you is regarding the scandal recently. You have, on our country's official Discord server and in the Demarcian National Party's headquarters, made remarks that have been felt, by many, to be sexist and racist. You told a woman that she was "too ugly to kick your saggy tits from the room" and "too fat my boot couldn't even move your arse if I tried". On the Discord, you attacked the SDP's secretary Penstubal and called him as a "gypsy liar". You have denied making those statements despite the fact they were said in public, as well as the fact that these remarks are accessible to everybody at any moment. Is this leaderlike behavior, mr. hircine?

HIRCINE: I do not recall this event you describe happening ergo they are fake news. Which I have stated before - I and the Green Party have nothing but the best interest in mind for our citizens no matter their race, faith, gender or other personal beliefs. Everyone has their right to be treated equally might I add. so the fact that I am being pictured as a racist and or a sexist is completely false and fake.

INTERVIEWER: Mr. hircine, I am not responsible for a coconut hitting you on the head in the aftermath of your comments. Those comments did happen, and they are well-documented and acknowledged even by some in your party. Would it not be more leaderlike behavior to acknowledge that the remarks were indeed made - but to apologise for them? Don't you believe it would repair the way you are seen by some of the Demarcian community, particularly the women and minorities, in the light of this incident?

HIRCINE: Again I must apologize - If I did say these things which I did not then of course it would be only just to apologize - But I never said these things. Now regarding your main question is it leaderlike behaviour to give sexist or racist remarks; the answer is simply no. Have I ever made such remarks. then the answer is once more No.

INTERVIEWER: Anyway, on a related note, do you feel like there is a lack of female and minority representation and leadership in this country? And how would you mend that?

HIRCINE: Hmm - That's a good question actually. Yes I feel like our nation can be better represented by these groups. The Green Party self would always welcome these party's if they have of course the same set of skill that the other party members have. I don't think we should just mindlessly add certain groups of our society to ''give a better representation''. That would be positive discrimination. However we should stimulate these groups to give their voice and voice what they want to happen with Demarcia. And I'll repeat myself once more; The Green Party will accomplish this. We'll strife for change, justice and equality.

INTERVIEWER: Alright, thank you. Moving on to the next topic - let's talk about your vision for our country. Why should the people elect you and the Green Party as their new leaders, and what new things are there that you have to offer? In terms of policy and in general.

HIRCINE: Well I think that the Green Party offers a new look on how things have been going in our country. The SDP has made some / good / acts and rules and has done what it can do. I however feel like things can be done better. An example would be the way Demarcia is planted. Or the Animal Act. We'll strife to make the country much more sustainable and lasting in the long-run. Not to forget further fund our military. After all these troops risk their lives for our safety.

INTERVIEWER: What would you say is the biggest policy proposal you have right now? A specific policy proposal? And is there any policy proposal you believe could be harder to pass through Parliament, and would require lengthy negotiations with the opposition?

HIRCINE: The biggest proposal we're currently drafting is the Nuclear Power Plan. Which will change the way demarcia's power is currently being made. I'm sure this will need lengthy negotiations - we wouldn't be politicians if we didn't discuss everything ha- ha-ha. but it's a discussion i'd be willing to have.

INTERVIEWER: Alright, thank you. Let's talk about you now. Why should voters trust you specifically, of all the candidates that there are, to be the next president? Why should they trust you with the security of this country and to lead this country on a good path? Put the case for why you specifically, in your qualities, are the best equipped to lead our country.

HIRCINE: Well for one they should know that I'm rather new and fresh to politics. Which isn't a negative thing - I see it as one of my biggest strengths. where other people have a tunnel-vision or look are stuck with one certain approach. I'd look for new ways and look at things from a broader angle. As current President and CEO of Gusken Corp my insight in economics, nature and wellfare have honed and sharpened. This job also kept my feet on the ground. I do not see myself as a high and mighty politician but just of the people.

INTERVIEWER: I see. So you believe that your freshness would give you leverage over the sort-of old class of leadership?

HIRCINE: Exactly! I've seen a lot of repetitive behavior in the old-class leadership. and I also think that /some/ of these older politicians are out-of-touch with the civillians. the real workers, the ones that keep demarcia running.

INTERVIEWER: Alright, thank you. Next thing I would like to ask you - what are your criticisms of the way the country is currently run, and what would you be doing differently from what the Social Democrats are doing? Are there any policies you'd like to criticise that the SDP implemented?

HIRCINE: Like I've said the SDP has been running the country for a long - long time. I feel like they have lost their touch. it's time to put things under new management. Regarding their policies. I've already mentioned that I want to adjust some of the current policies regarding climate and health. I also feel like the SDP is promising more than it actually delivers.

INTERVIEWER: I see. But is there any specific policy they enacted that you disagree with, not simply want to improve or adjust? Would you repeal any SDP-passed policy? And which one?

HIRCINE: Good question. I can't really give you a thorough answer with this one given that I don't make all of my decisions alone - a party member would have to bring something up and lately we've all been terribly busy with the campaign. We haven't really looked at the older passed policy's given that we'll do whatever it takes to reach our goals. If that means repealing or altering a passed policy.

INTERVIEWER: Don't you think it would probably be great for voters to know before voting for you? Because, for example, you could decide, after you got elected, to repeal something pretty popular; but the voters won't be able to do anything for another three months to stop you from it.

HIRCINE: Well I think the voters know the ideals of the party so they would know what they'd vote for and if an policy is really populair amongst the voters then i'm sure we wouldn't touch that policy, providing it matches our ideals. They could however always contact me and my party members directly with our social media like I've said before! So if any of our listeners/watchers are interested in voting the Green Party but you have some questions then be sure to ask.

INTERVIEWER: You mean readers? xd

HIRCINE: xd

INTERVIEWER: Anyway, thank you. Finally, a big issue in our country today is the political divide. We appear more divide than ever before, and this upcoming election might be the closest in our history. How will you reunite our country after the election is over and work across the aisle to reach consensus on issues that matter to the people? Last question.

HIRCINE: By discussing, negotiating and simply listening to what the other party's have to say. We're not a dictatorship after all. - We're not ruling with iron fist. We'll do our best for the voters, for the people and for Demarcia to unify our country and work to a sustainable, clean and healthy future.

INTERVIEWER: So you will stand ready to compromise with the opposition on your agenda? What would compromise entail in your view?

HIRCINE: Well that of course depends on the content - I'm just saying if the opposition comes with arguments that I cannot ignore then who am I to not seek a common middle ground. This doesn't mean that I'll let the opposition or anyone else slander the Green Party's ideals. I just think that we should coexist and work together.

INTERVIEWER: Alright, thank you. Mr. hircine, thank you for turning up for this interview.

HIRCINE: Mr. Penstubal, thanks for having me.
